Nice to meet you!
I'M TAJA
Fueled by equal parts sweet tea and passion, I spend my days capturing the kinds of images that make you stop and smile and burst out in laughter remembering "that one time when..." Your love story is unique and beautiful and I can't wait to capture it in images you and your children will treasure for years to come. I believe in real moments that can't be orchestrated, and the sweet little moments begging to be printed and placed over your fireplace.

Working with Me
Take a break and eat a brownie. Planning a wedding is tough! There's a lot to consider and I remember going through it all. That's why I try to incorporate the tips and tricks I learned at my wedding to make the photography process easier.
I'm the photographer who won't just take your picture, I'll remind you to eat. When your brother-in-law tries to be "funny" during the formal portrait I'll gently remind him everyone gets to be silly in the next picture ;)
If you don't want your photos to look planned, I gotchu! You are probably that modern bride who cares deeply about their photos but also loves candid moments and dancing at the reception!
You won't feel awkward in front of my camera because of my posing process. I teach you some core poses (that are mostly a distraction), then, I'm doing most of my clicks in between the "core" poses for the candid moments. (My secret's out now! Haha)
You want to relax and enjoy your day, which means you probably have a day-of planner to shield you from the hassle, and that's what I'm here for too! We'll work on your timeline to ensure you get all the photos you want for your big day, even those photo booth pictures!
When I'm not traveling, I'm at home with my hubby and fur-kids re-watching The Office and Parks and Rec. I love a great escape room and playing Magic The Gathering. I love bad puns and am kind of a chatterbox :D
